Online protections tools may not always be trustworthy be cautious when choosing one!
·       Ways of blocking certain inappropriate material from being acsessed on your computer are availablel, getting one is a good idea!.
·       Create a screen name rather than your own, to protect your identity.
·       Sharing an email address with your parents or children is advisable
·       talk about uncomfortable internet exchanges with someone older that you trust
·       Do not reveal personal information to strangers on the net  .e.g phone number or address/location.
·       Never trade personal photographs over the Internet to strangers.
·       One in five children/teens who use computer chat rooms has been approached over the Internet by pedophiles so be careful what you do on the internet, chatrooms may not always be safe.
